The best golf game that an MS console has ever seen. Could still use a few engine tweak, however.

The courses look great, but a bit more fine-tuning of the character models is in order.

As long as the online tourneys keep coming, Tiger Woods 10 will have a lengthy shelf life.

The new touches of in-game updates and crowd noise in the background help. Tournament atmosphere could still be pumped up considerably.
8.0 Graphics
The trees, some lighting and the water effects are certainly improved but player models and animations need attention. Do we really need the vapor trail?
8.0 Sound
Van Pelt adds a lot but Tilghman is dry and emotionless. Ball strikes and effects sound good. I want to see and feel more emotion from elements of the game.
8.0 Gameplay
The new putting works very well but the rest of the package we’ve seen before. New modes reshape old elements nicely.
8.5 Lasting Appeal
There’s plenty to do in Tiger Woods 10, whether you’re online or off. Most of the package has been seen before, but that doesn’t make it any less entertaining.
