The player models are still a bit synthetic, but the overall look of the game in motion is more refined than EA’s 2006 offerings.

The soundtrack isn’t quite as good as FIFA 07, and the commentator call doesn’t sync as well with the on-pitch action.
Longevity: 8.0
Eight player online action – oh yeah! One could get lost in the Ultimate Team mode.
Innovation: 9.0
Soccer gaming seems to be EA’s main refuge for innovation these days.
