2K Sports' Football Makes a Comeback
This isn't much of a prediction, as Mr. Jon Robinson already broke the story, it's more of a reaffirmation (we also predicted this game last year). As we understand it, 2K Games will bring football back to the sports market, only in a very different way than before. Since EA owns the NFL, NFL Players license, the NCAA Football license, the Canadian Football License, the Official Poland Football license, and pretty much any license under the sun related to football, Visual Concepts has to do something pretty drastic to make a gridiron game. So, somewhat like Acclaim's Wrestling Legends, the former football developer will pick select legends licenses, compile them into a next-gen football game, and make football viable again. Expect an announcement this spring and the game to hit the shelves this fall.

Online Leagues: Here's my dream: I get a group of 32 people together, we sit down online and have a fantasy draft. That draft is not only my fantasy team on ESPN.com, but it's also now my team in Madden. We play a full online season in Madden using our fantasy teams and we have two winners: the fantasy winner and the Madden winner split the winnings. If you have the brains and the skills, you could win both, doubling your money (not that EA, ESPN, the NFL, or IGN condone betting, I'm just saying…). I'm sure not everyone can get 32 people organized, so you can group it in any number of players with 32 being the ultimate. That's the combination of fantasy and gaming that everyone should be striving toward.
