Tiger Woods is finally a challenge! But only if you want it to be. Shooting in the 50s is still possible, and it’s as fun as ever.

Graphics: 7,0
Standard golf visuals. Nothing has really changed since last year, with many of the same textures and animations popping up at every turn.

Audio: 7,0
Again, we’ve been hearing this same stuff for a while now. It’s time to get the commentary duo back into the booth.

Longevity: 9,0
A laundry list of game modes keeps the variety in Tiger 07 flowing. A user-defined difficulty level will extend this game’s life for a great while.

Innovation: 8,0 The best addition to the game happens to be its inclusion of many of the old mechanics that we all know and - some of us - love.

Overall: 8,3/10

8.0 Presentation
Tiger has been completely cleaned up, with a streamlined menu system and great atmosphere. There are only 12 courses, but a robust career mode adds tremendous value. This feels like next-gen golf.

8.5 Graphics
Tiger looks amazing thanks to UCAP. Everyone else looks great, except the alcoholic truck driver you created in Game Face. The courses and scenery are gorgeous, a great walk in the park.

7.0 Sound
Recycled from years passed. A nice ambient soundtrack, but the crowds and commentary from 2004 make the game feel old when it should feel new.

9.0 Gameplay
Finally, course management. True Aiming is such a sweet, simple solution you wonder why EA didn't think of it before. And after hours on the range, you'll shoot a 63, just like the old days.

8.0 Lasting Appeal
Daily tournaments online are a great idea and build community on the leaderboards. And thanks to the PGA for creating the FedEx Cup. Winning the title feels like winning the Super Bowl in Madden.

A more realistic, tour-like experience makes Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 07 the best EA golf game to date. Online is better, but still not perfect.

This is by far the best looking Tiger game ever made, but EA has yet to completely put one of their next-gen sports titles together.

Audio: 7,5
Rehashed a bit from last year, but slightly enhanced to seem more “next-gen”.

Longevity: 8,5
New mini-games, modes, and solid player progression programming keep replayability high in Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 07.

Innovation: 7,9
Dual analog swing system is slick, and made even better with the True Aiming system.

Overall: 7,9
